And you 'the Artist' you think the world has gone mad with man... cause it has!
Well there's the rub of it all, The world and man versus the artist that would dare to think to challenge or question the conventions of the modern day... or could it be the other way around... the artist against the world. *Shrug* No matter, but when life makes sense, don't think about it too hard, because that moment of sanity just might slip through your fingers like fine grains of sand, leaving you alone with your own madness.
Life never makes real sense and it ain't easy, or it wouldn't be worth living. That's what we humans are all about- 'the struggle to survive and overcome our own obstacles and strive for something greater... to achieve something.... to make something of ourselves... to create and destroy and create'.
The irony of it, is that we want it to be easy, and we really try to make believe it to be easy and comfortable with our talents for innovation, but then we just make life more complicated than it's suppose to be.
Well 'life' has been teaching me this. Knew life was never easy, and I know the world to be mad with man and all of man's visions and sensibilities of greatness, and the world would think and know me to be this odd duck that has a very peculiar take on the world and man. 'Sigh' You get accustomed to it after awhile.
From work, dealing with corporate stupidity, bills, and just trying to keep my head above water and support my family and doing my art, knowing and believing that I can and will do this. I just keep pressing on, no matter how mad the world may seem at the time. Kaos is from where art rises.... where an idea seeds and grows in conscience of thought, will and heart; to what end?- Man only knows and that can be anything. That's what makes 'man', well 'man'.
So I keep pressing on, not hoping for the best, but trying to do my damnest to do my best and make a difference where and when I can, no matter how little or insignificant it may seem at the time. A pebble makes many ripples in a pond and it's impression is beyond our own knowing. We just hope for the best and this is where simple faith comes into play.
Live well and be well.
